Rockstar confirms Grand Theft Auto V for Spring 2013. Pre-orders to begin next week.
Just two days after the 13th anniversary of the North American Dreamcast launch (9/9/99), PlayStation Plus subscribers get first dibs on the HD rerelease of Jet Set Radio. I renewed my subscription specifically for this day. Jet Set Radio is quite possibly my most looked forward to game yet this year. I can’t begin to explain the amount of excitement surging through me right now. As soon as this firmware update is over, it’s fucking on!

The latest installment in the ‘Sly Cooper’ series is being pushed to the beginning of 2013. Be on the lookout for it on Playstation 3 and PS VITA early next year.
Sega announced the launch details for the upcoming Jet Set Radio HD release on Xbox Live, PSN, PC and Vita. On Tuesday, September 11th PlayStation Plus members will be getting first dibs with regular members getting the game a week later on September 18th. Xbox 360 and PC owners can get their hands on it on the 19th, and Vita owners will finally get their own piece a few weeks later on October 16th. Jet Set Radio HD will run you $9.99 (800 MP).
Still no word on an iOS & Android release date or price.

The latest title update for snowboarding game SSX adds head-to-head multiplayer and a free ride mode.
Originally scheduled to be released today, Rockstar has pushed back the downloadable release of Grand Theft Auto III for PlayStation 3 due to music licensing issues. A new release date has not yet been made, but we’ll keep you posted on any updates.
We’ve known for quite a while that it’s been coming, but now it’s official. Grand Theft Auto III will be available to download on PlayStation 3 through the PSN Store via PS2 Classics. For $9.99 you can own one of the greatest games of our time this Tuesday, July 31st.
So not only is one of my favorite games of all time coming to 360, PS3 AND Vita, but also iOS and Android platforms. I will certainly be painting the town all over town this Summer.
On another note, it’s amazing to see that our mobile and tablet devices are now to the point that they can successfully run titles such as Jet Set Radio. Obviously we’ve seen the likes of GTA III and Infinity Blade run beautifully on these devices, but I still can’t help it to be surprised at first when I get my hands on them for the first time. It really is amazing.
Now this leaves the question: When will we be seeing some Power Stone love from Capcom?
Announced today, Capcom will be bringing Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel VS Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes to XBLA and PSN this September under the name Marvel VS Capcom Origins. Both titles will be online enabled with matchmaking and leaderboards. Continue reading
So remember a while back when Sega posted a teaser image of “Stick Canyon” (a level from NiGHTS) on their Facebook page? You may not, but they did. Anyway, the teaser image had to have meant something was in the works for the 1996 Saturn title. They had announced they were planning on doing HD re-releases of Dreamcast titles such as Jet Set Radio, so could it be one of those?
