A Mega Man FPS!? I wish… The folks over at Polygon posted a great article on Maverick Hunter, a Mega Man FPS that was in development through Capcom and Retro Studios (the team behind the Metroid Prime series). We all know the outcome, of course. A very interesting read though. You can find it here.

FarCry 3: Blood Dragon will be available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 via XBLA & PSN respectively (PC too!) on May 1st. Get ready!
Well this was unexpected. One of my favorite games from the 16-bit era, Flashback was an amazing 2D adventure game that used vector style cutscenes much like Another World. I absolutely can’t wait to play this ‘re-imagining’ of the title later this year on PSN and XBLA.
What the hell is Blood Dragon, exactly? Aside from the few images that have popped up recently and the minute long teaser trailer (posted below) not much is known about FarCry 3‘s latest expansion. Continue reading

Even though I don’t follow the Battlefield franchise, I have to give it up to Electronic Arts for still finding a way to make me excited to play the latest game. They started this with Battlefield 3 by releasing a series of 10+ minute long trailers that briefly capture the events during the game’s missions, and here we are now with Battlefield 4. Hopefully the game will be released on next gen consoles and I’ll finally be able to play it with the graphics the way they were meant to be. That was definitely the biggest drawback from playing Battlefield 3 on consoles for me. After seeing the game run on a fully loaded PC, everything else just feels dumbed down. Be on the lookout for more Battlefield 4 trailers in the coming months.
Are you excited for the new Battlefield? Sound off in the comments below!
Whether you liked Resident Evil 6, or not, you have to admit this is pretty amazing. Capcom is teaming up with Valve to release free DLC for Resident Evil 6 on PC featuring playable characters and enemies from Left 4 Dead 2 to use in RE6′s No Mercy mode. The DLC will be available on April 5th, but Resident Evil 6 launches on Valve’s Steam Platform later this month, March 22nd. More details can be found at Capcom-Unity’s blog. No word or confirmation on when we can, hopefully, expect to see RE6 characters in Left 4 Dead 2, but a few of RE6′s enemies will be making the crossover into L4D2′s campaign. We’ll keep you posted as more is announced.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: GameTrailers’ Pop-Fiction show is one of the best bits of video game nostalgia to date. Right up there with Screw Attack’s Video Game Vault, also on GameTrailers.com. This time around, the Pop-Fiction crew takes on the infamous ‘Nude Raider’ myth. Quite possibly one of the most well known myths, for anyone who grew up with the original Tomb Raider series. I remember hearing about the myth for myself when the original title was released. Back then this was a huge ordeal, but after all the ‘Hot Coffee’ and God of War boobies, it’s pretty rediculous now. Wouldn’t mind seeing a little ‘Nude Raider’ reboot, though, with the latest title! Microtransactions, anyone?
