Nintendo has once again given us another reason to keep our 3DS’ charged and Wii U’s plugged in. The Nintendo Direct video yesterday gave us a glimpse on some upcoming titles as well as a few amazing first announcements. You can watch the entire announcement above, comment below!

Project X Zone will be coming stateside to the Nintendo 3DS on June 25th for $39.99. As an added bonus, the initial batch of games will be a “limited edition” including a mini art book, poster, and official soundtrack CD at no extra charge.

If you’re still on the fence about upgrading to or buying a shiny new 3DS XL to play the new Luigi’s Mansion or Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, now’s the time to act. Announced today, Nintendo is offering anyone who purchases a new 3DS XL and registers it along with either Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon or Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity by April 30th will also get a chance to download one of 5 great 3DS titles from the Nintendo eShop.

- Professor Layton and the Mircale Mask

Both 3DS XL and game have to be registered with you Club Nintendo account. Once registered, you’ll be able to redeem your free game via the eShop. More information can be found here.

Already own a 3DS XL? Well, some of you are in luck. Only units that have been registered after February 14th will also qualify. The rest of you? Not so much. I’m sure if enough early adopters band together and voice their concerns to Nintendo, something can be worked out. Feel free to do so here.
